Shola Studiokitchen - Dylan

My first impression on Shola was that it was going to be foods I had never had before based on his website; however, he ended up making dishes that I had seen before, but this time they were made fresh and were presented amazingly.  When we went to Shola he made pizza, pasta, and cheese soufflĂ©.  I thought it was just going to be normal, but everything was made from scratch and tasted very good.  My favorite was the pizza because the fresh mozzarella combined with the home-made sauce and fresh dough, it was really good.

Shola is more of a chef rather than a cook because a chef is someone who is paid to make food, and making food is his main source of income.  Shola was at one point a cook because he said it was one of his hobbies to cook food.  He was not making money at this time and was following recipes.  Also another difference between a cook and a chef is that a cook is someone that follows a recipe in order to make their food, while a chef is someone who creates a recipe based on their knowledge of the food that they are working with.
